Location: Based in Ashford with travel to Kent, Sussex and Surrey as required
Contract: CDI, Part-time (3 days/week)
Salary: £30,051 – £32,531 prorated (depending on experience)

We are delighted to recruit a Work Ready Team Leader to plan and oversee the delivery of the Work Ready Employability Program in prisons.

Based in Ashford, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of contracted and CXK teams, ensuring that all courses are delivered to Ministry of Justice (MOJ) expectations across all six Kent prisons , Sussex and Surrey.

You are:

A confident manager/provider of high quality employability programs
Organized with excellent time management
Confident in establishing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships
An excellent communicator
An adaptable team player – passionate about providing consistent excellent service
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quick understanding of internal software packages.

main responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development and review of the Work Ready employability program
Manage the daily delivery of the Work Ready employability program ensuring they are of consistent high quality.
Provide at least monthly program performance reports to the Area Manager, Prison IAG, in accordance with the KPIs defined by the contract
Undertake monthly delivery reviews with CXK contractors and provide reports to Area Manager
Work closely with the IAG team in each of the prisons to maximize participant progression
Work with prison partners to encourage a smooth referral process, attendance and employment opportunities for participants
