WASH Advisor (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) – United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Hours: Full time (Part time considered)

Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 gross annual

Duration: Permanent

Location: Based in UK – Remote

Travel: Frequent UK and overseas travel, including working weekends and overnight stays

Are you an experienced humanitarian procurement specialist looking to make a significant impact in emergency health response?

UK-Med is a frontline medical aid charity. Originating from the NHS, we have worked for over 30 years for a world where everyone has the healthcare they need in times of crisis or disaster.

We are recruiting a Category Manager/Senior Buyer to undertake a number of tender exercises. You will lead the establishment of multi-year contracts or frameworks for the organization’s critical goods and services in various categories.

As Category Manager/Senior Buyer, you will liaise with internal stakeholders and ensure appropriately detailed specifications, donor compliant bidding process and strong contracting. You will bring significant and relevant humanitarian procurement expertise, either from a significant period of work in the sector (which should be at least 5 years) or a combination of a degree and relevant experience.
