Travis Scott Net Worth 2022: Here’s How Much He Earns Despite Astroworld Tragedy

Travis Scott is one of the most beloved rappers of recent years. But despite the adoration he received from his loyal fans, Scott was also one of the most notorious rappers when it came to live performances.

Travis Scott Concert Accidents and Tragedies

Notably, at Lollapalooza 2015, he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after inciting the audience to ignore security and rush onto the stage.

In Switzerland, he encouraged the public to hit a man who allegedly took his shoe as he was riding a crowd. Scott reportedly stopped his performance and asked fans to “fuck him” while spitting on him.

Two years later, at another Lollapalooza concert in Arkansas, he was arrested for the same misconduct as in 2016.

Also that same year, a fan sued Scott and the organizers of a concert at Terminal 5 in Manhattan, after he fell from a balcony and was dragged onto the stage.

However, these are just a few of the minor (to say the least) debacles that occurred during Travis Scott’s performance. The deadliest and most tragic accident happened in November 2021 during its Astroworld festival.

Scott is currently facing a $2 billion lawsuit in court over his involvement in the deadly festival that killed ten people and injured hundreds.

But despite lawsuits, arrests and controversy, the “SICKO MODE” rapper still owns a huge fortune.

His collective earnings are made up of his annual income, which mostly depends on whether he is on tour or not.

Scott’s first two albums, “Rodeo” and “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight”, were certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling over one million album units.

Meanwhile, his iconic third album “Astroworld” is certified 4x Platinum as it debuted atop global music charts, including the Billboard 200 and Billboard Top R&B/Hiphop Albums charts.

Apart from his discography, Travis Scott also owns his own label Cactus Jack Records which is home to talents such as Don Toliver, SoFaygo, Chase B, Sheck Wes, Luxury Tax and WondaGurl.

The 30-year-old rapper was also prominent in the advertising industry for his many brand deals, including Nike. In a GQ article, Travis Scott ruled the sneaker world with his huge Travis Scott Sneaker collection – his most expensive being $100,000.

With his enormous fortune, it might seem that Travis Scott would survive the monstrous trial he faces.
