Cleary taking the opportunity to sample the juices Jonathan offers, Samia shared a selfie of the couple on her Instagram story, with her former co-star smiling from her van. “Love a good healthy juice when we’re at the park,” she wrote, adding, “Thank you old mate Corrie Johnny! @remedyonthepark.”

Jonathan played Joe on the ITV soap opera, an ex-con who was hunted by Mike Baldwin to be the new manager Underworld, from 2002 to 2003. After a year at the factory, Joe tried to rip off Mike by creating fake invoices for a fake company called Artrec and pocketing the paid proceeds.

But he ended up leaving Weatherfield when Mike scolded the scheme and Joe’s accomplice Karen McDonald exposed him to save her own skin. More than a decade later, the actor joined Emmerdale as the widower of Tess Harris, Pierce, who later married Rhona Goskirk before being sentenced to five years in prison for raping her.

Before opening his own business, Jonathan also starred in Fat Friends, Waterloo Road and Casualty to name a few. Last month, he posted a photo of himself on his Remedy page on the park’s Instagram page alongside his wife and children. The message on the post read: “Juggling family life and running a new business isn’t always easy. I closed the van this Easter weekend to spend time with the family. We’re working hard in behind the scenes and are excited to grow our business with new staff, extended hours, new juicing facilities and more! Have a great weekend folks!”

And he has since hired a new member of staff whom he introduced as Lou on his page before sharing a photo of himself and revealing: “Sneak peek at our new unit! We’re ramping up production to do more with love our cold-pressed goodness for your enjoyment.”
