What is Tyson Fury’s net worth?
According to reports, Tyson was worth an estimated £40million in October after knocking out boxing rival Deontay Wilder.
However, as he prepares to face compatriot Dillian Whyte at Wembley on April 23, the star’s net worth is set to skyrocket.
After his promoters Bob Arum and Frank Warren won their record bid, the boxer plans to earn an additional £22m for the fight, rising to £25m with endorsements.
This means that once he gets paid for the fight, Tyson will have an expected net worth of £65m.
Although the world heavyweight champion often gives his beloved wife designer gifts and treats his children to vacations in Dubai and Las Vegas, some aspects of Tyson’s life are surprisingly modest.
Despite his millions, Tyson and Paris live in a £550,000 detached house in the heart of Morecambe Bay, close to where the sports star grew up.
Inside, however, the couple’s expensive tastes are evident in the bold and luxurious interior design.
In fact, the couple’s living room has a large Versace mirror.
However, in 2016 and 2017, many thought Tyson’s jaw-dropping career was over after struggling with his mental health.
Speaking about her husband’s experience at the time, Paris recounted OKAY!: “It took a lot of strength to be the backbone because Tyson at the time was completely sinking.”
When Tyson’s mental health issues were at their worst, Paris also had to balance pregnancies and raise her children.
The mum-of-six continued: ‘That was one of the lowest points.
“At that time, for the two or three years that it lasted, I was pregnant and had children. What Tyson was going through was very publicized.
“I didn’t even know some of the things that were going on with him. When the newspaper published that he was using drugs, it was something I was not aware of.
“And then we went through all the times he had suicidal thoughts. Tyson would come in sometimes and say, ‘I’m not going to stay here much longer, I can’t take it anymore.’
According to the Daily Mail, after returning to the ring in 2018, his net worth was £14million.
After a string of wins, Tyson quickly made a name for himself and rose through the ranks again.
