Former world No. 1 golfer Greg Norman is the subject of a new ESPN documentary ’30 for 30: Shark’.
The documentary is directed by Jason Hehir and Thomas Odelfelt. It “examines the legendary career of professional golfer Greg Norman and how it was shaped by a breathtaking day at the Masters Tournament in 1996”.
The Aussie is known as the “Shark” due to his hair, height, aggressive golfing style and the fact that the animal is native to his native country.
Greg Norman’s wife, Kirsten, and her past relationships
Norman’s first marriage was to Laura Andrassy, an American flight attendant whom he met in 1981. A few months later they were married and had children – Greg Norman, Jr and Morgan-Leigh .
They divorced in 2006 and Greg married tennis legend Chris Evert.
They married in the Bahamas in June 2008, but separated after just 15 months. Greg and Chris later divorced each other.
Greg Norman’s current wife is Kirsten Kutner, an Australian interior designer whom he married in 2010. They married on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, with Greg Jr as his best man.
Kirsten’s exact age is not known, but she is believed to be in her late 40s to early 50s. Greg is 67 years old.
Greg Norman’s net worth in 2022 revealed
Greg Norman won 89 professional tournaments during his career. This includes 20 PGA Tour tournaments and two major tournaments: the Open Championships in 1986 and 1993.
The former golfer is also invested in many different businesses and is the Chairman and CEO of the Greg Norman Company, which he founded in 1993.
It is now a global company with a portfolio of businesses in areas including apparel, interior design, real estate, wine production, private equity and golf course design.
As of 2022, Greg Norman’s estimated net worth is $400 million.
