Milbanke Home for the Aged is recruiting carers to join the friendly team, where everyone feels valued for the work they do! We currently have permanent and casual positions available.

We are truly proud to be one of 16 Lancashire County Council residential care homes across Lancashire, providing care and support to over 700 wonderful residents. We are looking for naturally compassionate people who can help us provide exceptional care and achieve our vision. “To be the best quality service, safely supporting older adults with kindness, dignity, care and compassion to live their lives their own way”.

You do not need to have experience in care to join our team, the the right values, attitudes and behaviors are more important than your work history. However, we will support and pay for your training, as well as a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and uniform and welcome applications from all sections of the community.

About our house:

Milbanke is a purpose-built two-storey home for the elderly located in Kirkham, and provides quality, safe and comfortable care and support for up to 46 people in three distinct and welcoming areas.

We provide friendly, compassionate and person-centred support to people with dementia who choose Milbanke as their home. We also welcome seniors for residential care and short-term respite stays.
