About the Opportunity

Amie Gross Architects is seeking an individual who has the skills that will provide professional experience in our rapidly changing collaborative environment and the opportunity to work on various strategic and administrative projects that support the President’s efforts to sustain growth and business success. This full-time position will be in our offices in Long Island City, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Serve as a trusted assistant to the AGM Chair.
  • Perform a wide range of office administrative tasks.
  • Liaise with the PEO.
  • Support for marketing efforts on behalf of AGA.
  • Consult on community outreach for promotional efforts.

About you

You are an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Significant experience in administration – a minimum of 5 years.
  • The skills to anticipate executives’ needs and follow through on the details.
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to approach challenges with curiosity and creativity.
  • Experience in the architecture, engineering and/or construction industry.
  • Experience coordinating with IT consultants. Computer proficiency a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • An ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • A good sense of humor.
